Dedukt Setup

This guide gives you a step by step guide on how to set up a deduction for a customer on the Dedukt platform. Note: To use this deduction, the organisation administrator must have configured Dedukt as part of the integrations to be used for the product during product setup. Step 1: Click on the loan you want to set up on Step 2: Click on the integration tab (Fourth tab) Step 3: Click on "Deduction" under the integrations on this loan section Step 4: Ensure dedukt is selected from the available deduction options Step 5: Click on View details to fetch customer's dedukt details. A modal pops up where you can select customer's employer and input IPPIS number. Then click on Fetch Customer Details. Step 6: Customer details is displayed, informing you of the available balance deductible from customer. If customer has a deductible balance up to their monthly repayment, you can go ahead to set up deductions. Else, request customer to apply for a lesser amount or cancel loan. Step 7: A successful deduction set up shows as seen in the image below with a default pending (in place of the new) status and a Digisign link which can be shared with customer. Step 8: After a successful signing of the Digisign link, the status changes to "New" (image 1). If signing was not successful, the status changes to "failed" (image 2). Step 9: To cancel a created setup, click on the three dots to the right and click on "cancel". The status should change to "cancelled".
